I totally agree, Steve, on the lust worthiness of the combo in that last picture.. It really does have it all...the ying and yang of leaf and flower shapes, colors, and textures. It's a thoroughly lovely composition and your photo captured it perfectly. And, yes, also, on how Mexican Feather grass seems to enhance any grouping it's a part of. I know it reseeds like crazy and is on the verge of being labelled invasive (maybe it already has that designation) but I put up with the pulling out of the numerous babies to maintain some grownups that thrill me with their delicate luminescent plumes.
Thank you so much for sharing your photos! It's great to see what gardeners in my part of the country plant and manage to thrive with our sometimes tough conditions.
