ROE-sah Audio

This scented rose was reputed to be a favorite of Teddy Roosevelt. It has beautifully formed, double rosy-pink blossoms. It blooms all season long and grows to 5 feet high and wide.

Noteworthy CharacteristicsTea roses are old garden roses known for their repeating, semidouble or double, large flowers. Most exude a spicy fragrance. They are suitable for containers, mixed borders, and hedges.

CareGrow in fertile, moist, well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade. Teas prefer a sheltered location; provide good air circulation and remove fallen leaves to help prevent disease. Prune lightly or back by up to 1/3, reducing side shoots by 1/2 to 1/3. To renovate, prune one in four or five shoots from the base.
