My name is Courtney Gorman, and I live in Buffalo, New York. I have been a gardener for almost 20 years now. My love of gardening comes from my mother. She was a huge gardener. We would do several garden walks throughout the summer months almost every weekend. It amazes me what people can do with their yards (big or small). Especially with the smaller gardens, the imagination of what people can do with their yards is unbelievable. I love to see all the different variations of flowers and colors that are available. I love to see plants that are unusual and different.

Beautiful ! Welcome to spring . It's a while yet from when we'll see colors like that but there's plenty of anticipation and enjoyment in going out this time of year and making those springtime discoveries that are now waking up and poking through . Even though most color is in the summer months , springtime is so uplifting . I fully endorse daily walks this time of year through all of the gardens . There's something about this annual "break-through" ... Peace .
Courtney - I enjoyed reading your gardening story and looking at all the photos. Thank you for sharing!
Beautiful!
Lovely garden and that Rose of Sharon looks very happy! I also like using stumps as bases for various pots and the mushroom on yours add just the right touch.
Your Rose of Sharon is AMAZING! So inspired by how beautiful it is, I hope one year mine looks so nice as yours! I saved your photo to my Pinterest folder of inspiring gardens!
