Common plants, uncommon effect

You don’t need the latest and greatest plants to make a stunning plant combo. All of these plants are relatively easy to find in your local garden center: ‘Polaris’ verbena (Verbena rigida ‘Polaris’, Zones ), Artist Purple ageratum (Ageratum ‘Agmontis’, annual), purple coneflower (Echinacea purpurea cv., Zones ), ‘Victoria’ salvia (Salvia farinacea ‘Victoria’, Zones 8-11), gayfeather (Liatris sp., Zones 3-9), and flowering tobacco (Nicotiana sylvestris, annual).
