Ezequiel Barakat from Buenos Aires is back showcasing his English style cottage garden.
"Hola from Buenos Aires!! My project, an english style cottage garden is growing day after day under the bright summer sun of this southern hemisphere.
We are enjoying a wonderful sunny summer full of buttetflies, scented plants and colourful roses.
Here are my pics for you and all the friends of Fine Gardening. Have a great new year! Best regards."

Hello there Ezequiel - Lovely to see another post from you. Isn't it great that southern hemisphere sunshine, which we share! Your garden has progressed nicely thanks to your enthusiasm and hard work. Congratulations on your achievements. What is the mature tree in the second last photo. (Elm ?).
Have a great week-end GPODers. Cheers from Australia
You, too, Frank.
Good morning Ezequiel, such a nice pick me up on a dreary winter day. Your roses are so healthy! No black spot or chewed up leaves. You have created a nice garden that blesses all who see it! Great mix of sun and shade. That gladiolus is beautiful! Thanks for sharing!
Ah, wonderful sunshine, beautiful gardens, and like Rhonda says, a wonderful "Pick-me-up" for this cold, white and very windy morning! You have a lovely yard and those roses are beautiful! Thank you for sharing!
Wow, it's been quite a week of cyber traveling here in GPOD land...all with no jet lag. Thanks for inviting us back for another tour of your lovely garden, Ezequiel. I am all gaga over your boldly colored gladiola and canna...they certainly sing summer and make me look forward to the end my Tennessee winter.
Thank you for warming us up here in the north lands. With another cold and dreary day here, I have to agree with Michaele that the cannas and glads are a welcome sight. Your garden is certainly coming along. Keep sending photos.
Bright, sunny and wonderful! Just what I need on a cold, snowy day.
I think the fragrance of your roses came through in the photos! They make me happy. It looks like a stroll through your garden reveals hidden treasures. Just lovely!
Bom Dia, Ezequiel, and thank you for giving us another glimpse into your colorful cottage garden. It's so good to see photos of summer when we are still a few months away from seeing spring emerge. It looks like you are having a good growing season there judging from your roses and that beautiful gladiolus.
Hola Ezequiel, your gardens are growing very nicely under the strong summer sun. You must be very pleased with all of the beautiful blooms in your cottage gardens, your roses are especially lovely!
Good morning Ezequiel...thanks for sharing again your beautiful garden. It sure is needed today here in the gray cold day of winter. It would be so fun to have a "walled" garden like yours! Your weather is so good for growing roses too! Have a wonderful year ahead in your gardens!
I love that trellis against the white wall...I was just about to do that myself. Thanks for sharing!
Ah summer! It will get here eventually. Like the rest of us northerners, I am ready for spring. Thanks for the beautiful post. It helps.
What a beautiful garden! The flowers are amazing. We are trying to fix our small garden. This post will help. Thanks.
Beautiful!!!!
Your garden is gorgeous, Ezequiel! I'm visiting Buenos Aires in March and hope to find some private gardens to view. Is your garden open to viewers? Love how you've created a little bit of England in your part of the world. I try so hard to do the same here in Houston. Roses do very well here too. Love your garden.
