Love those irises.
Thank you! A co-worker had given me some tubers after she divided hers a few years ago. That area gets very soggy when it rains - the Irises love it.
Beautiful, a green haven and lovely flowers and shrubs .
Thank you - it's my first time submitting any pictures of my garden. I could have given a little more description of the garden :)
Wow your "Vanilla Strawberry hydrangea" is fabulous!
Love the arrangement and plant choices of your shade garden area, so nicely filled in with lower plants in front!
All the Creeping Jenny along the path just glows beautifully!
Those Monarchs sure love the nectar of your butterfly bush! Great photo of them! Love the look of the purple "Monkshood" in the perennial bed too!
Thank you SimpleSue. I replaced all the grass with Creeping Jenny and added flag stones for a path.
The "Monkshood" is such a beautiful plant - we get a lot of compliments when they are in bloom - the flowers look so graceful.
Absolutely gorgeous - so lush and inspiring! Lovely color combos and placements, especially those iris. Truly a place to recharge.
Appreciate your comments. Yes, I love to sit out and have my morning tea and hear the birds chirping.
Hi, Jacqueline. Thank you for sharing photos of your beautiful and full garden! I especially liked the combination of the pink astilbes and the white hydrangea, plus the green and healthy shade garden with the ferns and hostas.
Thank you Cynthia! The Astilbes love that spot as the ground tends to be very soggy in that area when it rains. They also get full sun!
The shade garden worked out well against the side of the house.
Such a pretty garden! That vanilla strawberry hydrangea is spectacular - I had just put one in at the house we had before this one not realizing that we were going to have to sell it quickly... I hope that it has grown to be as beautiful as yours. Thank you for sharing your lovely place.
Thank you! I planted it 5 years ago and each year it gets better. I love the the colours - I have 2 more planted in different areas of the garden.
Nice photos and plant color. :)
