While in Pennsylvania a couple of weeks ago, our new assistant editor, Tony, and I had a chance to stop in at Terrain, the nursery run by the same stylish folks as Anthropologie and Urban Outfitters. While I couldn’t afford a thing (for example….), I had TONS of fun just walking around, taking in all of the imaginative displays and mouthwatering antique garden relics. There’s a cafe at Terrain, too, and it’s way hip. There’s indoor seating, but I think I’d prefer this outdoor spot, with its washtub water garden and watering can tabletop display. So garden-y and beautiful.

Bowood Farms, Central West End, St. Louis.
Beautiful shop, cats (real ones), rooftop garden, restaurant, plants.
Your gonna love it!
The water feature is amazing, as are the chairs. I feel you, Michelle, with your comment about not being able to afford anything..... $49 for a set of 4 drink coasters?? Marked down from $78?? REALLY? Obviously, this store caters to the wealthy. The store's items are unique and beautiful, but the prices are ridiculous.
