      Many nurseries countrywide are adapting to the new COVID-19 outbreak by offering their customers curbside pickup. This enables gardeners to practice social distancing but still get much-needed spring garden supplies. Senior Editor Danielle Sherry brought us this video diary of her recent experience with curbside pickup at a nursery/produce market near her: Smith’s Acres in Niantic, Connecticut.

        Stranges Nursery in Richmond Virginia offers curbside pick up also. Great service and flowers.

        Sun Nursery in Woodbine MD is still taking phone orders for delivery within a reasonable area. They had curbside pickup until our governor issued our shelter in place order yesterday. Sun Nursery is terrific! I am missing the ability to drive out there and stroll!
