More summer in a beautiful garden

We’re back in Massachusetts today, visiting Tingshu Hu’s garden. We saw her front garden in July yesterday, and today we’re moving to the back garden in high summer.

A frog sits on top of a lily pad.

There are more blooms of the orange daylily in the back.

In July the daylily’s orange flowers and smooth hydrangea‘s white flowers (Hydrangea arborescens, Zones 3–9) joined the show. On the pergola are pink-white flowers of Rosa ‘New Dawn’ (Zones 5–11).
