Today’s photos are from Kathie Thompson in Vermont. She says, “Last August, I toured the King’s Garden in Fort Ticonderoga. Fort Ticonderoga is located on the shores of Lake Champlain in New York State in the Adirondack Park; the Adirondack Park is the largest contiguous park in the United States. The garden is in Zone 4 and it is exuberant and gorgeous! I highly recommend a visit.”
Beautiful, Kathie! I’ve visited the King’s Garden twice, both while visiting family near Lake George. I loved it, and that region is drop-dead gorgeous. Thanks for sharing your photos!

Ha, Kathie, as gorgeous and vibrant (and, yes, exuberant) as all the flowers are, what struck me most was that... these are pictures from last Aug. and you are in a jacket! Where I live in E. TN, jackets don't get to see the light of day until sometime in Oct. Anyway, the gardens look beautifully cared for and those aged brick walls make an amazing backdrop for the profusion of festive color. .
I love visiting that garden! The walls and formal paths make the space feel so comfortable and the gates and little alcoves are very inviting.
A really hot August palette! Perhaps there are cooling breezes or shady alcoves in the beautiful brick walls. Thanks for sharing this Kathie.
What a spectacular garden Kathie! Thanks for sharing.
Beautiful! When I was up there a few years ago for their reenactment -- I did not get to see the garden because by then there was an incredible downpour. Thank you for the pictures.
