She says, “Here are a few more pictures (we visited this garden last year, too, HERE) of my brother Dennis and his wife Jeannie Connelly’s place in Bismarck, North Dakota. I love the one of the real pheasant checking out his garden art counterpart and how beautiful the grasses look in the winter.”
Beautiful, Avis, thank you. Have a wonderful day, everyone!

Having recently reached "mid old age", I sometimes grow weary of the thought of winter and then I see images like these and I am a kid again. Thank you all !!!

Although I know many of you are covered in snow right now, here in my area of WA, no snow and 52 degrees yesterday, so thank you for sharing your snow and the beautiful pictures.
HAPPY NEW YEAR to everyone and thank you for sharing all of your wonderful gardens - and thank you so much Michelle.
Beautiful photos on this special day. The way the ice crystals grew on those berries is amazing. The trees look like the ones you find near the snow guns at a ski resort. A warm Christmas hello to all my gardening friends.

Today's pictures would make perfect Christmas cards!
I am thoroughly enchanted by these photos. Thank you,Avis, for sending them in to share and to you, Michelle, for saving them for today. They are absolutely perfect... showing the wonder of nature that is the gift that keeps on giving.
Merry Christmas to all.
Stunningly beautiful! Merry Christmas to all gardeners everywhere! Thank you for sharing your gardening gifts, talents and bounty through the GPOD. Looking forward to more shared experiences in 2014 and the years to come.
Merry Christmas everyone. We had a partly sunny day here on the Vancouver Island. I love the snow pictures. When we do get snow it melts quickly and gets all mushy and dirty. I think snow can be great if it stays for awhile and the sun comes out.
