Thanks so much for all the good wishes, everyone. My hubby and I both have this awful virus, and while we’re getting better, it’s going sloooooowly. Luckily, the photos I have at home are from such a great garden! Here are 3 more great combos from the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens. Enjoy!

Just came back from there. The CMBG is world class. I recommend it highly.
I hope someone takes pictures in the fall when the sweep of amsonia hubrichtii turns golden!
    Hope you are better soon.

These pictures reminded me of why I should not forget how shades of white light up a garden. The tallish stand of Oriental lilies really makes an impact as it contrasts with its dark foliage neighbor and the same thing happens with the luminous daylilies against the smoke bush...all very nice.
    Keep getting better, Michelle.

I like those pictures, especially the first one with it's pink, blue, and white. I hope you're beginning to feel better, Michelle.

I went to the CMBG for the first time several years ago, & had to go back a second time. This summer will be my third visit...if anyone is ever in the area, make a detour. This is a garden where the design is well planned, upkeep is perfect, and inspiration is everywhere.

Feel better soon, Michelle. In the meantime, be proud of your wonderful photos; they do a great justice to this garden!

Gosh, I miss another two weeks - one for vacation and one to catch up at work from vacation - only to find two of our group are suffering from the "summer crud!" That soup looks awesome, tractor1. Michelle, can he overnight some to you? Be sure to try elderberry syrup, echinacea with goldenseal, and astragalus (sp?) - all are great to support the immune system fighting the virus. And, plenty of hot lemon & honey water!

Back to business - love the Sambuca (speaking of elderberry!)and oriental lilies together - and those gorgeous pink hydrangeas! You've got great photos waiting in the wings, Michelle.

Are you SURE that Maine isn't the Garden of Eden? Those photos look heavenly! Such lush beauty. Thanks so much for sharing them.

Michelle, the photos are lovely. I would love to get a chance to see this beautiful garden for myself. Thanks for keeping us entertained even though you and yours are feeling punky. Hope you are up and about soon. grace
