I’m still at home, sick (when will it end???), so we’re continuing Friday’s theme of the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens. Today, check out three great combos I spotted on my walk. I think I’ll be posting a few more tomorrow, so stay tuned.

Feel better SOON Michelle.
We're enjoying your shots from the Botanical Gardens. I'm unfamiliar with the flowering blue? My Japanese painted fern has growth that is reverting to solid green also. I have transplanted some to other locations for texture effects.
Rest well today friend.
Michelle, so sorry you are suffering from one of those wretched and relentless summer colds...they are the very definition of misery.
The light blue on that one plant is amazing....so clear and true.
The blue flowers look to me like Salvia patens. In my garden, it grows taller, but I can make out one of the individual flowers at the right and they are distinctive. Some people think this plant has the most beautiful flowers of any Salvia.
A summer cold is awful, I know because I came down with a cold yesterday and today it's full blown... my nose is already red and raw from blowing. Have a bowl of my famous chicken vegetable wild rice soup... feel better soon, Michelle!
Get well Michelle! Really enjoying the series on the botanical garden. Really great!
I can't believe we were in Booth Bay Harbor this summer and missed this great site. Thanks for the photos ! I do hope you feel better very soon !
Feel better - love that hosta and fern!
Are those zinnias with the blue jewels? Lovely effect. So sorry to hear about the summer cold. Between the chicken soup and well-wishes, hope that you're feeling better soon
Great pic! Love the blue - may have to see about getting it into my garden.
Sorry you're under the weather - summer colds are the worst!!Feel better soon Michelle!!
Tractor1 - you feel better as well!! That soup looks delish!
Hummm - won't be getting this - it would be an annual in my 5-6 zone area and I doubt our local nurseries carry it - darn!
Michelle,
I am sorry to hear you are not feeling well. As you can tell we care about you and want you to feel better soon. Thanks for all you do. Love todays combinations.
Love the color combos of the plantings... I join the team with my wishes for a quick recovery, Michelle. It's a good thing you have the Olympics to watch while you are recovering! You don't even have to feel guilty about vegging in front of the tube. Feel better.
So sorry to hear that you are still under the weather. I hope that your post to this blog was all the work you had to do today and that the remainder of the day can be spent resting!
Beautiful color combinations! I'm getting ideas and looking forward to additional pictures. Summer colds are the worst. Please take care and get well soon.
