Today’s photos are from Peg McCann in St. Joseph, Michigan. She visited the Phipps Conservatory in Pittsburgh in 2010, and found this fanciful dragon. She says, “These twig dragons were made with garden scraps, hot glue, a bit of framing, and a lot of creativity. I recall the sign said the pieces were all bits they’d picked up after a storm.” Awesome! Thanks, Peg, for sharing these photos with us.
Got any great photos from your garden travels? Send them in! Be sure to tell me about them so that I can quote you if the photos are featured. Thanks!

Creative, but creepy. This is one I would pass by.
I love the creativity!
This is from a show a couple of years ago. As a docent at Phipps I highly recommend that if you're in the area please stop by, even ask for me to show you around. Our shows change five times a year. "there's always something blooming at Phipps"and they're always spectacular.
These twig dragons are awesome. They remind me of the 'dragon' seahorses I've seen in the past. Very cool.
Such creativity!!
