Hello there Rhonda - Lovely to see your post today. Your table setting is fabulous - including the lovely floral arrangement! Your room with all the glass is also spectacular - lovely view of your garden. Puppy seems to have embraced the holiday season spirit. Hope all your family made it and enjoyed a wonderful meal and great conversation in your lovely setting. Cheers from a hot (92F) and steamy (high humidity!!!) Oz
Thanks Frank! Not all of our family did make it, but we celebrate with whoever can make it. Is that humidity curling your hair up? Happy New Year!
Rhonda - humidity doesn't curl my hair, but some jokes do! The humidity is due to the remnants of a cyclone which hit North-Western Aust. a few days ago. Cheers, Frank
Hope everyone is safe. ?
High Temperature and humidity is called hot yoga in Canada. Enjoy! Happy New Year Frank.
Hi Rhonda,Your home seems so warm & inviting your guests are sure to have a terrific time no matter the weather. Every detail in your photos is perfect for the season & the cute white puppy on the red background is heartwarming.
Good luck, Joe
That is our precious Dolly, the bishon. She is very quiet and just loves everyone. Thanks for your compliments!
Rhonda, you house and decorations are so warm and inviting. They match your personality so well. Love the look of the sunroom. And your outdoor fireplace looks great in the winter. Do you keep your water feature running through the winter?
Enjoy your family time today. Looking forward to meeting up with you at the Flower Show. Tell John I said "Hi". Have a safe and Happy Nee Year.
Thanks Kevin! Yes, we usually leave the water feature running. When it ices over, we have some beautiful sculptures that appear. When it drops below 15 degrees, we turn it off. Are we announcing GPOD day at the Philadelphia Flower Show today? Mark your calendars for Tuesday, March 14th!!!!! Kevin and I will be there, and we're going to have a blast!!! Happy New Year to all!
Hi, Rhonda, how sweet of you to invite us in for an imaginary sit-down at your beautiful holiday table. Your little white pooch struck a beguiling pose for the camera...what a heart stealer. Love your sunroom and the views of the outside it provides...it's all quite gorgeous!
Thanks Michaele! Thanks for your kind words! Happy New Year!
It all looks quite festive. Your winterberry looks happy and brightens the scene. Have a Happy New Year!
Thanks Chris! Happy New Year!
Thanks Diane! No, that is not Cole's prostrate. It is a run of the mill juniper. Thank you so much for the kind words! Happy New Year!
Rhonda, you drew me in this morning and I really want your sunroom!! What a great place to watch it rain or snow and see the changes in the garden. Everything is just beautiful. Your pup is pretty cute, too.
So nice that some of the East coasters will meet up at your Flower show. Hey West coasters, is anyone going to the NW show? Let's meet up. I'll be there on Wed. aft., all day Thurs. and Fri morning.
Happy New Year, Rhonda and everyone else.
Thanks Linda! Happy New Year!
So great to see your garden again, Rhonda, and your beautiful dining room and sun room.
Your water feature and fire place provide such year-round beauty and structure. Love them!
Thanks Tim, my heuchera master!
Rhonda, everything about your home, both inside and outside, is perfect for comfortable entertaining! It is all so welcoming and your sunroom is downright dreamy with the view of your gorgeous deck and conifer + filled yard. After your holiday decorations are up, you must love to just sit back with a glass of something tasty and enjoy the fruits of your labor! Beautifully done.
I remember when the guy from four seasons said, "you will live in here if you get this" and I thought he was trying to make a sale. Guess what, he was right! My favorite is the thunderstorms, but little Dolly, not so much!
For Dolly... have you heard of 'thunder (?) wraps, blankets, jackets,,,not sure of the trade name? We have a friend with a sheltie that is terrified of storms and she swears by this jacket sort of thing. It snugs them in tight and apparently gives security to the frightened pup. Just a thought.
So awesomely beautiful. Love your sunroom and all. Love you flower patterned chair cushion in your pup photo and dog napkins. Happy New year Rhonda and everyone!
They are fox napkins, I'm crazy for foxes! Thanks for the kind words!
So beautiful! Love the sunroom and the stream and the deck, patio and fireplace, and the bright red berries...love it all! So cool some of you East coasters are getting together at your flower and garden show. Some of us in the PNW will do likewise, and it will be a blast for all of us. Happy New Year. P.S. Dolly looks like a sweetie.
I hope we do get together at the flower show. Dolly is so sweet. She loves everybody! Happy New Year to you!
So beautiful, and your table setting is gorgeous. I'll be there for dinner! Seriously, Rhonda, My sister loves foxes; where did you find those napkins? And is that Red Sprite winterberry just off your deck? Thanks for sharing.
Yes, Red Sprite always delivers... the fox napkins are Caspari, available at nice gift shops or online! Thanks for your kind words!
Thank YOU, and Happy New Year!
Looking at your pictures makes me smile
Thanks Lily,
It's a fun season. I just realized that the outdoor work stops and the indoor work starts!
Hello Rhonda, thank you for inviting us today. Your home is very welcoming and full of warmth and color, just lovely. Dolly is sweet and beautiful, the perfect pet. So pretty looking out through the sunroom Windows to your garden in its winter elegance - I love the trees unclothed in winter for their beauty is visible and elegant. When the snow falls they become ethereal.
A wonderful treat today.
Happy New Year to you and your family.
Thanks Eddi,
We are so blessed. Thanks for your kind words!
Beautiful
