This antique hybrid foetida rose from the turn of the 19th century has gorgeously fragrant blooms, but it’s widely perceived as being very prone to blackspot. Many think it’s worth the trouble for its extravagant blooms that smell of citrus. It prefers full sun and lots of pampering.

Where I am ..l there are far too many unreliable roses ... and if they do manage to make it through our winters ... they live for such a short time ... such a welcome sight these beauties!!!
