Tom VonIns is sharing his garden with us today. Tom and his wife started working on making a garden here in 1985. When they started it was mostly dirt with no landscaping whatsoever. As you’ll see, they’ve made a pretty amazing transformation!

Yes, we sure do understand those containers of plants waiting for their homes.
You've created a great space to enjoy all year around!
The pond...oh wow...I can almost hear the calm sounds of falling water splashing!
Nice seating around the fire too! Such a pretty garden!
You've done such a good job of landscaping what was once just empty lawn. I love the pond area the sound must add a nice ambience to the area. Your sail over the fire pit makes such an interesting cover from sun and rain. What sort of material did you use for it?
How your friends must love visiting your pretty garden and relax to the sounds of the water feature!
Thanks for sharing such a successful landscape, getting so many features in a smaller property. And yes, I have been working so hard to get things into the ground and keep them alive during a hot dry summer and a well pump failure! Fall plant sales are just around the corner, and bargains will surely be found for all of us to find a home for. Nice job, and thanks again.
