Betsy Ekholm is the gardens manager at Blithewold Manor, Gardens, and Arboretum in Bristol, RI. She interned at the Arnold Arboretum and is a Rhode Island Certified Horticulturist. Betsy writes the garden blog for Blithewold and is also a contributing writer for their member’s magazine. When she is not managing the gardens at Blithewold, she is working in her own garden in Riverside, RI with her husband. They are cultivating a native-centric garden in a lawn-centric suburb.
