Kristin Caldwell is a landscape designer based in the San Francisco Bay Area. She earned an Associate of Arts in Landscape Architecture from Merritt College in 2010 and started her design practice that same year. Kristin’s philosophy is to make gardens that thrive in our changing environment and inspire the client to enjoy the space while also bringing the garden to its full potential. Growing up in the Bay Area during the 1970s, Kristin repeatedly experienced the drought cycle of the Mediterranean climate. Her designs reflect the need to conserve water, use sustainable practices, and, more currently, be fire wise. When Kristin is not working on a design or in her own garden, she can be found cycling with her husband or spending time with her two adult daughters.
