I’m located in Southern Wisconsin and we’re starting to see some amazing fall colors right now. Fall color in WI is a BIG DEAL and the “peak” of color is tracked throughout the state. We’re headed into that peak very soon and I continue to see amazing photos from further up north where sugar maples and other trees are offering some amazing range of warm colors.
What fall color is showing up in your landscape and what is your favorite tree, shrub or perennial for fall color!
I’m a huge fan of the late season coloration of black tupelo (Nyssa sylvatica). This tree becomes a very deep maroon/red and holds color late!
