Fall perennials with colorful foliage

Chloe_Moderator | Posted in General Discussion on

With fall winding down and almost all the leaves off the trees in my area, I’m really appreciating perennials that offer fall leaf color. Amsonia might be the best of all, but I’m also enjoying euphorbia, hardy geraniums and tiarella. Does anyone have suggestions for more colorful fall foliage perennials?

    Virginia creeper is my favorite!
Not leaves, but... holly with berries, red mums, nasturtium planted late, and pink muhly grass.

Virginia creeper is so beautiful. I love it up in the trees. I've never planted nasturtium late. When do you plant it? That's a great and easy complement to fall color.
