We have a strong gardening community in my town and we hold frequent meet ups, garden tours, educational hikes, and other events. It’s very informal and we’ve mainly connected with each other via social media, but I believe we’ve truly enriched each other’s gardening and lives. Yesterday, we had a seed and plant swap at the brewery in town, and it was such fun. It got me wondering about other communities. I’d love to hear about other towns and cities and how gardeners connect elsewhere.

Great idea! A seed and plant swap...at a brewery!
Several of our community organizations put together garden tours, native plant hikes, and plant swaps. Ours don't take place though until April or May, coinciding with out last frost date of the season.
I am going to borrow that brewery idea. Thank you!
It was the perfect thing. Chatting with gardeners, supporting a local business, enjoying a good beer, and leaving with new seeds! Hard to beat!
