Maple damage from deer – is there anything to do?

Damage to my autumn blaze maple from a deer. Any suggestions of what I need to do to the tree now? Should I just leave it? (I’ve rebuilt the fence now at least).

Yes, best to leave it. The recommended practice is to leave it exposed to UV light to deter fungus, etc. Good thing you were able to repair the fence!
