These shrubs and small trees are grown for their abundant display of pea-like flowers which are often yellow, pink, or white. They are sometimes very fragrant. Growth habit is twiggy, and mature plants may have very few leaves. Grow in a rock garden or border, or as groundcover, depending on species.

CareGrow in full sun. They prefer well-drained, fertile soil but they will also do quite well in poor, acidic soils. They do not like to be moved.
