Jewel orchid

This native terrestrial orchid produces basal rosettes of striking silvery-veined evergreen foliage. Small white flowers are borne on single slender stems about 6 to 10 inches tall in late summer.

CareThis easy-to-grow, hardy orchid requires shade and rich, well-drained soil that is slightly acidic. Mulch with composted hardwood bark or conifer needles.

PropagationDivide rhizomes in spring once the plant is established.
