Bob Stamper in Zionsville, Pennsylvania, was inspired by all of the recent photos of Innisfree to send in this photo. He says, “I took this photo in Kanazawa, Japan, a few years ago. It was part of a garden on the grounds of a temple in the center of the city. Besides being esthetically beautiful, the angles apparently keep evil spirits from following you because they can only travel in straight lines.” Gorgeous, Bob! We’d love to see more photos from that trip…..

    Love it. It makes me feel good about the curves in my garden. I wonder if you could use that same style with a concrete path? Hmmm!

    This is beautiful. Between this and the Innisfree photo, I would really like to just install these paths all over my lawn and stop mowing it. Forever.

    It's funny how a photo brings out so many different things in people's minds. What popped immediately into my mind, after reading the text was, "How strange that in this beautiful peaceful environment the designer has allowed fear(superstition/fear)to guide some of the design." How could devils possibly exist in this paradise?
